To replace the control cable, you will need a wrench and/or screwdriver. Begin by turning off the tiller and locating the control cable near the handle. Disengage it by unscrewing and disconnecting it from the handle. Follow the cable to the engine transmission, typically held on a clip, and disconnect it.
