This fuel line clamp is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in edgers. It is a metal clamping device with a diameter of approximately 1/3 of an inch, placed around the fuel line to keep it secured against the fuel tank/carburetor and prevent fuel from leaking. Over time the clamp can corrode, crack, or become loose. This issue should be addressed promptly as a faulty clamp will cause fuel to leak, allow air to enter the fuel system leading to a lean fuel mixture, and allow contaminants to enter and clog the fuel system. To complete the replacement, use a pair of pliers to squeeze the clamp and slide it off the line. Place the new clamp on the fuel line and tighten it. Avoid over tightening as this will place excessive pressure on the fuel line.
