On the maytag Washer 4 years old. Set to wash . starts and goes thru cycles. Water pumps out at end of wash. Seems like spin cycle does not activate. Also makes a clanging noise. Clothes are still sopping wet when cycles end. Thanks for your help

Hello Robert, thank you for contacting us. Please check the drive hub kit, part number PS6012095, the drive pulley, part number PS10057144, and the shift actuator, part number PS11769864. These are the most likely culprits of the issue. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the control board, part number PS16744869. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining, and spinning. We hope this sorts out your problem!

This has been the worst washer I have ever had. It doesn't complete its cycle. You expect the wash to be completed and its back on wash and shut off. Had the repairman here when it was new and it still acts the same.

Hi Bob, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest making sure the load is not unbalanced and the clothes are not unevenly distributed in the washer drum. If the issue remains, the problem might be with the drive belt, part number PS12578772. It is suggested to check if the belt is not too tight or is slipped out of place. We hope this helps!

MAchine was making loud noise and would not agitate. I replaced Washer Drive Pully, and Drive Hub Kit. Now it is much more quiet, however the agitator is barley moving, not even enough for delicate cycle. It was on Power Wash. What part should I try next?

Had 3 repair visits for problem. At beginning of wash cycle after water fill a chattering noise sporadically appears and after about 30-45 seconds a pop then continues to finish wash. One repair said it was probably the clutch and it would be too expensive. Last person said he wold have to heard the noise before he could confirm the cause. So I guess when it totally breaks it can be replaced. Ideas ??

Hub had warn its grooved teeth off and washer wouldnt agitate
ordered hub and it shipped quickly. I was able to put the hub in place and screw the screws in. you want to tighten them down slowly and go around to each screw tightening a little at a time so you don't break the hub. as you tighten the screws down the hub slides down flush. its impossible to just push the hub on with your hand. Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
