Idler pulley was frozen on the shaft.
Removed the top, front cover, drum and belt. Removed the idler pulley bracket and pressed the frozen pulley from the shaft. Cleaned the shaft and applied a small dab of anti seize and replaced the pulley. Installed all parts in reverse order. Dryer works like new again.
Looked it up on YouTube. It told me to take the front panel off. I did, changed the belt, put the panel back on and it works perfectly. The part came in the time it was supposed to and it was the correct part. Thanks.
Once it was identified that the Motor Relay was no longer functioning it became a very easy repair. I had the part in 2 days per the initial order information. Installation was merely insuring that each wire clip was connected in the EXACT location on the new Relay as on the old one; removing one at a time from the old to the new is key. This took all of 5 minutes at the most including replacing the front panel back on to the washer.
Turn off electric to unit. Remove lint trap. Remove lower cover below dryer door. 1 grey clip on either side. Bend upper portion of the clip down while pulling forward on panel. Remove 4 1/4 inch bolts that hold blower duct to fan. Push pulley upward while removing belt. Use a small angled pick to remove pulley lock ring. Install new washer and pulley. I added grease to pulley shaft. Hope this helped. Good luck
first of all there is no video for this model dryer (cabrio accu-dry) the main difference is that the console is removed by removing 3 screws across the back top of console then using putty knife release spring fastener on each side ,slide forward and lift. remove one screw at top of control board and remove from plastic mount, and unplug connecting wires.remove top of cabinet lifting up and forward. The rest of install is typical to other models. The back panel doesn't come off this model. You have to access everything from the front.
Unplug from electric ? outlet. Set the meter to ohm setting, check part ,no reading. Remove old part ,check new part with meter ,get a reading of 11 or more mA. Install new part and blower cover done.
Pulled the back panel off with nut driver , reached in removed belt from pulley , disconnected the spring , removed the the 1 bolt holding the bracket . Put the new one in , in reverse order . Very simple , maybe 15 minutes total . While back is off , shop vac out any lint !!
