Once I got the right part the repair was quick and easy. All I had to do is get the old part off with a screwdriver and curved needle nose pliers and the old part came right off. The new part went in just as easy. Quick and easy. Less than 15 minutes.
Received the union I ordered, then discovered that the tubes were different sizes, so I had the wrong part. I had read elsewhere that it was necessary to trim the two ends of the tubes with a box cutter to stop the leaks - I did this, and the leaking stopped. I was then able to go to a local hardware store and get a 5/16 to 1/4 union and replace it. The leaking is stopped, and the water supply in the door is now working like new. No problem with partselect, but I did buy a caliper so that I can check tube diameters if I ever have a similar problem! This is a great site to find instructions - well worth the time to search!
Could not figure out why this was happening suddenly. Then remembered I had recently changed the lid to one I had stored for over two years in the garage. They had sent me a replacement lid when the unit was less than a year old because the origianl had a crack in the clear section. Noticed it seemed a little warped. Thought I would replace it to see if that solved the problem. We had to replace the side panel of the draawer because the warped lid had broken the peg off of one side. I didn't want that to happen again. The new lid did the job....This company is the only one I will use in the future for my appliances. Very easy to find parts and the pricing was better.
I just unscrewed the plate that locks in the light switch (screwdriver) and unplugged the old faulty part and plugged in the new switch, screwed the cover back on and I was done!
This safety glass is very fragile... it broke under its own weight into a million pieces because I held it just near one edge... I ordered the part through Parts Select that evening and had it in my hands in less than 36 hours!!! Installation only required putting it back in the refrigerator.... Service and price from Parts Select was nothing short of amazing... especially considering that this 5 sq ft piece of fragile glass had to be shipped without breaking! Thanks for great service!
I bought a set of appliances used online and the fridge door did not align to the other door. I quickly noticed I had lost the lower bushing to the right door upon transportation so I did what any man would do...find a way to fix it! after checking out a few websites I ran accross Partselect and after seeing their "dummy proof" diagrams It was certain I couldn't mess this up considering the loads of bushings to choose from. The order was placed Monday morning and to my surprise I had a package the VERY NEXT DAY!! AMAZING delivery time and quality products. PartSelect is definately my appliace parts source from now on! Thank you!

Damper wouldn't open in referigerator
Removed pop off plate inside top of refrig. Removed 2 screws holding cover. Removed cover and styrofoam piece Unplugged wiring Removed old part Transferred wiring to new part Replaced all parts.
I broke the left side end cap the holds the pantry door on. I search the internet for the part and happened to run across part select. I order the part and received the part with in 3 business days. It took less than 30 minutes to replace the end cap.
The great reviews help me with my choice to order the part from part select. I will order parts from them again.
Refrigerator was not cooling. Damper would not open.
Removed damper vent by hand and then unscrewed 2 visible screws that hold Damper Control Unit in place. After removing screws, the damper control unit is easy to remove by unplugging 2 electrical connectors by hand and connecting new unit the same way. Screw the panel and snap the vent back in place and you're done!! Piece of pie, easy as cake...Ha! Ha!
Followed the YouTube video linked to the Compressor Start Device and Capacitor I purchased. The repair was just as easy as the technician in the video said it would be. Removed the back panel, remove the clamp, worked the Compressor Start Device and Capacitor off the electrical prongs and replace it with the new one. After I reassemble the refrigerator, it was fully operational. Very easy to do and only required a few tools.
