waher would run if we figeted with the handle and then stoped working(found a popcorn kernal broke the handle switch)
shut off the power on the breaker box, 6 screws inside the door on the tolp and side, pulled 4 wires off, 2 star head screws on the unit. took bad unit off,put new one on and put the screws back in.
Dishes were not getting cleaned-not enough water getting into dishwasher.
Shut the power and water off. Undid water inlet an outlet connections and unplugged power to the valve. Installed new inlet valve in reverse order and it's like having a brand new diahwasher and I saved myself neaerly $500.
Removed the rack out of dishwasher. Removed sprayer by removing 4 screws. Removed cover to pump propeller assy.by just lifting up on the cover. Then you remove 4 screws from the pump cover. Remove the propeller. Pull up on shaft and seal. Then when you replace everything just reverse the directions.
I pulled out the dishwasher and found the inlet tubing had a tear in the accordion part of the tube. I searched online for the model number and was directed to PartSelect. I ordered the inlet tubing, and it only took a few days to get to me. I then watched the video and was able to install the new tubing.
PartSelect is a life saver and I saved lots of money by not having to call a repairman.
Removed the old rollers with with screw driver. Used the original screws and washers, and reinstalled the new rollers. Had been having trouble with top dish rack metal slides popping out of the old rollers. I not that the replacement rollers are slightly larger and have slightly deeper groves for the slides. Have not had the new rollers installed long enough to see if they remedied the problem. Will know in a few weeks time. So far, so good.
1.Turn off electricity. 2. Remove two Phillips screws on either side of front panel 3. Remove front panel 4. Remove 6 screws from the old dispenser 5. Pull both wires connectors from dispenser 6. Remove dispenser 7. Install the new dispenser and reverse the steps
The actual installation of the dispenser was a breeze. Just unscrew the 6 screws unplug the 2 electrical wires and put the new one in. The problem I had was removing and replacing the front panel of the machine. The metal facing had corroded onto the frame of the door and was difficult to get off. Replacing the door was just as much a pain as it had to be lined up correctly with 4 holes in the frame. Did it in the end everything works great. Cheaper than a whole new machine.
