Unscrew broken piece, pull it out and then insert new one, security it in place and connect water line again, make sure It's thight check for leaks and done
First I had to tilt the refrigerator on wood on the supports under the refrigerator, the wheels were easy to get to then I unscrewed the old ones and replaced them with the new better wheels. The old ones where plastic.
One of the front studs was broken off. I had to use pliers to pull it out (kind of tight). Then I inserted the back and front holders and layed the shelf back in. Total time...10 min
After finding water on the floor I investigated to find the leak. I Found theat the Icemaker fill tube on the back of the frig was cracked(due to someone pushing the frig back against the wall). Turned off the water supply to the icemaker. Removed the 2 screws holding the tube in place. Slid the tube out and slid the new one in. Replaced the screws and turned the water back on. Very easy, very inexpensive.
I put the end caps on the shelf bar and popped them into the slots on the refrigerator door. Very easy. Good experience ordering from PartSelect. Glad I could make repair with minimal expense.
I was lucky in that I already had an ice maker and just had to replace the unit. The parts and instructions were complete and easy to follow. Installation was a breeze with no concerns at all. The new unit is working flawlessly and we are very happy with the results. Thank you for supplying a quality replacement and excellent support via the instructions. The service was outstanding and I had my unit in about 3 days!!!
