The end caps broke on my oven door handle.
1st I opened the oven door and removed the 2 screws that hold the outside and inside of the door together. With the door separated I removed the 2 screws that hold the end caps in place, then removed the old end caps. I put the new end caps on the oven door handle, aligned the holes for the end cap screws and reinstalled the screws, then reinstalled the oven door screws, closed the oven door and started cooking.

Plastic end brackets for the oven door handle were both broken
We had to buy star shaped screw driver bits to get the screws out. After that it was easy, unscrewed 2 screws, removed the old end pieces, and replaced with new end pieces and new screws. We used the original spacers and nuts. Repair was quick and easy. We found these same parts on the Sears website for $33 each. Here they were only $14 each.

Updating Old Stove
I've just completed a remodel and while I like the existing stove from a functional perspective it was the only really shabby looking thing in my new kitchen. I didn't have the funds for a new oven and since the old was still worked really well I was looking for a way to give it a face lift. I noticed that the worst part of the look of it was the cracked and discolored plastic end caps on the back display and on the oven handle. Ordering new parts was EXTREMELY easy. In fact I am still in shock at how easy ordering the correct parts was. The partselect website is REALLY well designed. The new parts did the trick. I scrubbed the stove surface down, replaced the cracked and discolored end parts and I literally have now had 3 people ask me if I got a new stove.

replaced door handle and end caps
the first end cap broke when I tried to tighten the screws, the end cap holes were too small, Thirty some dollars down the drain. Drilled out the second end cap before I tighten the screws, worked fine. Make sure you drill out the holes of the end caps or they will split out and you lose your money. There are no warnings about this problem.
