Easy repair
Save yourself the trouble: pull the D/W out and turn it on its side. Otherwise, the original oetiker clamps are a pain to remove! The part had a different electrical connector but otherwise was an identical match. I assume that connector matches SOMEBODY's D/W but the pump appears to fit many different D/W models. I cut the connectors off, spliced the pigtails together and voila, working dishwasher! It took me about 15 minutes overall (excluding removing standing water because of my failed old pump).

So I hard wired it by sniping out the wire connector on both sides and wire nutting the connections. Once done I put the dishwasher back in place and tested. Worked like a charm.
