I have a kude48fxss5. The heating element is not working. The dishwasher displays diagnostic codes 9-1, 8-1, 7-1, 9-2. I checked continuity of heater element and high temp-stat and both checked out fine. I replaced the diverter, and heater element anyway. The diverter is working fine, but leaks, and the dw drains despite code 8-1. In fact, everything works except the heater element. Will a new harness fix these issues, or a new control panel, or is there something else that it could be?
For model number Kude48fxss5
Hello David, Thank you for the question. I would first suggest checking the wiring to make sure there is no damage and everything is connected securely. If the wiring looks good, the most lily issue would be the control board, PartSelect Number PS11759622. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
