Super squeaky dryer
The video from this site is perfect. Unplug dryer, remove front panel, unclip wires, remove next panel and pull the drum out. Replace drum support wheels using snap ring pliers (buy the pliers with changeable tips because the holes in the snap ring were pretty small on mine). Put it all back together. The trickiest part is getting the belt back on...just be sure it's not in the groove around the drum and pay attention to how to get it on the motor wheels. Good luck!

I dis-assembled the case.
I re-assembled, checked felts, and wear blocks,(good condition). I cleaned lint, removed coins from baffles, corrected several dents(minor), double checked wire condition and routing (good), finished re-installation, checked balance . all was good, and ran two loads of laundry. very quiet! Thanks

Replacing broken Baffles in drum.
Removed four philips screws, two holding door on and two on opposite side of door in order to remove front cover. Then removed two 5/16 screws holding clips that lock the top cover down. Then the top cover hinges up with open access to the drum. The baffles are held into place with two #10 x 1 1/4" screws with 5/16" head each. These had pulled through the drum. Installed new baffles (do NOT come with screws / you'll have to buy some). Had to put small washers (also had to buy) on the screws to hold it onto the drum since the other screw heads pulled through the drum. Closed lid, installed retaining clips, installed door onto frame, installed front cover around door, then screwed door hinges into front cover and screws to other side. Took about as long to write these directions as it did to actually do the work... EASY job!!

belt burned and idler pully froze up
i took off the door and the front of the drum and removed the drum. I removed the locking clip from idler pully and replaced and lubricated the shaft and slid the new idler pully on. I hung the belt over the back and put the drum back in and aligned the belt and turned by hand to get the belt in the correct position. Belt came off a couple of times because i think the belt was twisted. installed the front panel and the door, plugged the cord in and started it up and it was perfect.

Noisy dryer drum
I made the mistake of repairing my old maytag neptune dryer with cheap eBay rollers and they crumbled apart and made a ton of noise within a month. I replaced them with quality OEM parts from partselect.com and my dryer is running like new. It's easy to do with common household tools and there are even easy to follow instructions available online.

Loud noise when dryer turned on. Stop at time.
As per video instructions we took off front and removed drum. We only changed one of the roller support wheel as I could not find any information as to how many I need for my type dryer and parts diagram was deceptive. Showed only one drum support roller.

Long baffle had broken off inside the dryer drum.
Removed four screws from the door hinges and front panel. Removed the front panel by pulling forward from the top and found two screws. The part does not come with screws which are #10 x 1 and 1/4" long hex head sheet metal screws. I believe that the screw size is critical as the part may break loose again if the screws width is too large or small for the predrilled holes in the baffle. One set of holes in the drum had slotted screw holes which would allow for installing the baffle with the screws partially installed in the baffle. I would recommend washers for that installation. Check all three baffles to ensure that all screws are tight.

Loud squelling noise when dryer was running
Removed front of dryer, removed inner cover, slid roller belt off of drum to remove drum. Only tricky part was the two clip rings. My pliers had .070 tips and the ring holes were smaller so I had to run to HD to buy a pair with various size tips, ended up using the .047 tips. Only one wheel was squeaking when I rotated them by hand, but I had ordered both as recommended here so I replaced them both. Put everything back together feeling the belt to make sure it was not twisted and rolled smoothly when I rotated the drum by hand. Works great now. Lots of thanks to this site and all the posters who share their info!
