inner glass broken; fan not engaging
Door repair assembly was simple, did without any instructions or manuals. Fan assembly, the actual fan replacement was easy, it was the number of pieces of metal that needed to be removed i order to get the main rear panel off to access. Also had to remove panel from inside the oven; requires two people to loosen screws from inside while the other person holds the fan assembly from the rear side of the oven. Didn't have any instructions for this task either, figured it out anyway, just follow the layers.
We have double wall ovens and each one only had a single oven rack in it. After 3+ years, I was tired of dealing with the issue so I ordered two new racks from PartSelect. They came quickly and fit perfectly. All I had to do was open the box, remove the rack and slide it into the oven. No muss, no fuss. Why didn't I do this years ago??
Similar to another customer, the racks were not removed before self-cleaning. The issue was that I AM THE HUSBAND and I admit that I did it. Ooops. Great price and if I do it again, I will go back to parts select to get a replacement.
This site made the job so easy. Looked at a couple of other posts tested the coil in the gas valve (it was open) ordered new valve from PartSelect only took a couple of days to arrive R&R the valve, turned on the oven and it fired right up no problem. THANKS PartSelect your site is great. By the way. I compared prices Sears $151.00 and 5 days shipping. Repair Clinic $142.52 and 5-6 days shipping. Local supply shops my area about $150.00 but not in stock would have to order. PartSelect price with faster shipping $139.04 You guys rock!!!
Electronic panel went out. Oven would not stay on.
Installed new panel and re-assembled stovetop. Went very smoothly. Shipping was amazing. I ordered part on Thursday afternoon and it arrived Friday morning.
After using the self-cleaning cycle on my range, the door wouldn't unlock and the electronic key board wouldn't work.
Order a thermostat and put it on and now it works. Took less than a half hour to repair. Very satisfied and probably saved myself over $200 if a repair man had done it.
During the self cleaning, the panel board lights went off and the oven door locked.
We unplugged the range and shut off the cable switch. We took off the back panels and found the thermostat behind the bottom panel. I believe my husband had to take the top panel off first in order to get the bottom panel off. We pulled out the two wires that were connected to the thermostat and then took out the thermostat by unscrewing two screws. We installed the new thermostat (two screws) for our model range, re-connected the two wires, plugged it back into the wall and switched on the cable. We were elated when the panel board lid up and seconds later the oven door opened. It works beautifully. Thank you, thank you, Thank you PartSelect and to everyone that wrote their installation instructions that inspired me to try it. It was very easy and we saved hundreds of dollars.
I got the new wheel and screwed it in by hand. It took like 4 minutes total between taking out the drawer, screwing the new wheel on, and putting the drawer back in
after self cleaning door locked and control panal went of
After describing my problem read the review from other people with a same problem. I can't believe it was so easy not mention how much money I saved. It was the thermostat just needed a screw driver to open about dozen screws from the back panel there it was it was thermostat my 12 years old son just unscrew the two screw and pull tthe pin from both side replaced it with a new one and turn the electric on and there it was every thing is back to normal. My son now has the bragging writes for doing this.
