Our lint catcher broke at the top and was not allowing the front loading door to close. It could not have been the best use of efficiency either! I went online and found your site and ordered the part I needed. Most impressive, was that I received this small part within 2 days! Not sure why I waited so long to order the part - I could have saved myself a lot of aggrevation long ago. Thank you for your quick service!!!

I ordered a placement lint filter because the one had a hole in it allowing some of the lint to go thru it. This was the original one, so it has lasted a long time. I am hoping that the new filter will last now until the dryer gives out.The dryer was bought in 1996. Thanks Parts Select for the great service in sending me the new on and having one in stock. Thanks so much.

Replacing the old with new filter took about 5 seconds. The best part of this story was the shipping. I ordered the filter and to my surprise it arrived the next day from clear across the country. I removed it and put the new one in place.

I checked the model number inside the door and googled Maytag parts: Part Select had it in stock with a picture that showed it looked right for my dryer. I ordered it and it came very promptly--I exchanged the filter and the filter works fine--easy to do and prompt service from the Part Select.

I lifted out the old lint filter and inserted the new one. Piece of cake!!!!

Simply dropped it in. I have never had a simpler installation! Service was a+!

Opened box with knife and removed filter from sealed package. Inserted filter into filter slot just inside the dryer door. I'm very pleased this filter fits so precisely because the dryer is so old.

We turned off the power to the oven and removed the oven racks. Then we used a screwdriver to remove the metal plate in the back of the oven which held the connection for the old heating element. The element pulled out easily and then we connected the wires to the new element. Very simple.

Throw the old one in the garbage. Slide the new one in. Hahahahahaaahahaa:)

It was easy, just dropped the new one in place. It was easy to find the right part, ordering took less than a minute, the new filter arrived very fast. We're very satisfied.
