Dishwasher was leaking intermittantly
First I replaced the lower door seal then I replaced the door gasket. The instructions were clear so both were pretty easy. Unfortunately neither fixed the leak. After further research I discovered that the screws on the pump had become loose. I used a torx driver to tighten the screws. Time will tell, but I am pretty confident that this has fixed the problem.

no water reached top rack spinners
Removed DW following great instructions for our unit at: repairclinic.
Problem when removing actual pump as a thin metal screen fell out after. Cleaned it and tried to reinstall the screen. It took over an hour figuring out how the screen went back in as it was cut to fit a certain way and had to try it over and over blindly then try to get it to stay before putting in pump. Finally put DW on its face. It was almost two hours after starting that everything was done exactly as instructed.

Started washer. Water came in perfectly. After about two minutes when the washer arms would start there was a horrible grinding sound and we promptly turned it off. My wife gave up the fight and is washing dishes by hand. That was a $172.00 experience.

The dishwasher would not clean the dishes. This was because the chopper screen got clogged after 5-6 washes (even we were careful to rinse the dishes) so water would not circulate. The chopper clogged because the blade was not spinning. This was because the piece of the impelled that the chopper
The repair was very straightforward. I followed the excellent video provided by Part Select and the repair went exactly as shown in the video.

The only minor challenge was removing the dish washer from the cabinet, and disconnecting the utilities (electrical, water, drain), as these elements of the repair were not covered by the video. Fortunately Part Select included a copy of the installation instructions that come with this dishwasher; those instructions gave me the information that i needed to "uninstall" and "reinstall" the dishwasher as part of the repair.

Top rack of dishwasher kept pulling all the way out
Our dishwasher's top rack would pull too far out which made it hard to stay in alignment. It had lost it's track stop. I easily ordered the part from PartSelect, and it came more quickly than I expected; I clicked it in place and it runs like new. It's wonderful to deal with a company that knows the frustration of not having your appliance in good working orfer.
Thank you.

Washer kept clogging the screen and dishes weren't coming clean.
I didn't finish the repair because there was a wrong seal in the kit. The factory impeller kit 8193951A from Whirpool comes with a totally different seal that I took out of the washer and the schematics from their own website and the manual shows the exact same seal that I removed, but is not even close to the one I received. I am stuck with a good dishwasher that I have to junk because of a $2 seal that whirlpool won't help me with. So much for customer service.

No directions with parts!
Could not take apart the upper rack on my whirlpool dishwasher to replace its wheels to transport its upper rack. The received parts did not match the old ones. Called parts and they suggested these new parts remanufactured and changed from the old ones but they had not been notified. Brought to professional mechanics and they figured it out. Bullshit parts company!!

I can not get the part to fit and stay in place.
It is a small plastic piece which serves as a stop on the right side of the upper rack. It is the correct part because it is identical to the left one of the same type. I tried clamping down with a pair of pliers but I am afraid of breaking it. With shipping this two inch piece of plastic cost $20, so I do not want to crack it. I am at a loss as to how to sit in in place.

Top Rack of Dishwasher Not Cleaning
After several weeks of decreasingly clean dishes on the top rack of our dishwasher, I did some digging & found that my chopper assembly was broken (the washer had come off & the parts were loose). I ordered a new chopper assembly here. Once I received it, the entire repair took less than 30 minutes. I removed the old chopper assembly, used a shop vac to remove the excess water & food particles, then reinstalled the new chopper assembly using the instructional video provided. The dishwasher is back up & running like brand new. The top rack is getting cleaned thoroughly once again. PartSelect made the process extremely easy & affordable!
