oven not heating
Delivery of the replacement element was quick. Two days after I ordered. My husband replaced it and said it was easy. He just had to unscrew the old element and disconnect the terminals on the back.I thought I was going to have to buy a new stove, just because my oven element wasn't working. Many thanks!

Replacing bake element
Undid two screws to pull the element out, and another two to unhook it from the wires. Reverse procedure with the new element and baked some muffins. The hardest part about this repair was getting the part. I typo'd my shipping address and had to knock on a neighbor's door!

Lower heating element burned out
I replaced the element. The new part arrived within 48 hours of being ordered. It worked. The part that sticks out the back of the oven with the connections was a little shorter on the new element which made it more difficult to put the wires on but it was not too difficult.

Element had cracked - arcing to oven base.
My oven is so old that the model # tag has been scrubbed blank. I search your site by Brand name and oven description. I found the pictured element in your listing and sized it up. Part arrived as promised. It was simple to install - power down oven via circuit breaker and remove 4 ea screws and removed defective element. Install new element and reattach via screws. Turn on circuit breaker and power up oven to test - all working fine.

A plastic bowl was placed on the hot eye and melted.
The old eye was lifted up, hinge screw removed, and three screws removed from the eye that connected lines to it. Did just opposite for installation. Very easy. The hardest problem was finding an eye with three screw-type connections.

one element suffered a small puncture where the heated element burned thru
The old burner was disconnected by unscrewing the wire connectors. The new burner was installed by reconnecting the same wire connectors although the white and red connectors had to be swapped to make the inner element go on when #2 or med switch is chosen.

original bottom heating element melted down into wall
Removed the element and put in a new one. Screw mounted interface to 230 mains involved removing two screws in oven wall and two connecting the main wires. Screws were provided with element. Effortless replacement saved an expensive house call and/or oven replacement. Oven is 44 years old and Parts Select had an original replacement part here in 4 days at new years. Part was only $18.45. Parts Select rocks!

The burner only heated half of the coils
The repair went well and once again my stove that was installed back in 1968 is working perfectly. We will be buying another 6" burner and 2-8" so we have them when they begin to burn out. We looked everywhere for a replacement and was told they do not make them anymore, but we found it here. Thank you!

Very low oven heat
Ordered new element (super-easy to select the right one at this site!). Turned off stove breakers. Removed two screws holding mounting hinge plate with nutdriver. Detached wires with regular screwdriver. Attached wires to new element lugs with screwdriver, using furnished new screws. Reinstalled element hinged mounting plate with screws and nutdriver. Only difficulty is 1) working bent over inside the oven because the wires are short, and 2) wire screws are regular, not Philips, with shallow slots so screwdriver slips out frequently.

Shut off breaker to oven. Removed two screws holding the element. Removed two wires attached. Cut back old wires and crimped on two new eyelet terminals. Screwed wires onto element and reattached. Turned breaker on and tested. Works great. Any girl can do it.
