My previous ice maker made a ton of noise and stopped making ice
It was as simple as removing two hex head screws to remove the old ice maker, then aligning the new ice maker (ensuring the downspout from the water supply was directed into the opening designated for it) and then screwing the two screws back into place. The most difficult part is the space that you have to work with. It was a little difficult and frustrating, but put in place, an hour later we had ice and it's worked great since!
Downloaded a schematic of the ice container. Disassembled the ice container, keeping track of which different type of screws went where. Followed the schematic to ensure proper sequence of blades and spacers. Manually rotated unit prior to installing into the freezer in case of binding. Finished.
The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.
I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.
When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.
Biggest part of this repair is getting the correct part. You just slip it on. Your website was very good in the diagram that identified the part. Delivery was quck. Thanks
While loading up the freezer for holiday company, the bin on the door broke. I went online ordered a new one, got to me in three days. Took it out of the package. Hooked it in..Fixed. Thanks for saving the day!
Simply popped the bin into place and my refrigerator was a good as new again. Note, you have to push kind of hard to get the shelf into the correct groove.
Turn off power. Remove ice tray. Back out the two screws with nut driver and just lift ice maker off screws. Do not bend the water fill tube in the back . Now unplug the wire and remove ice maker . To replace, match the color of wires on plug. Adjust wires in place and water fill tube and back on to the screws. Hold in place and snug screws. Turn power back on. In 4 to 5 hours your ice will start . FED-EX UT to MN was 13 days to deliver .
Water filter would not disconnect from OEM Water Filter Base
Disconnect the two water supply tubes at the base of the Water Filter Base. Using a 7/16" open end wrench, press up on the blue "O" rings to disconnect the tubes. Use a Using an 8" long magnetic phillips head screw driver I was able to unscrew the 4 short screws holding the original water filter base and the immovable attached water filter. Replacement was easy. Simply slide the new base into the fixed slot on the refrigerator and reinstall the 4 holding screws. Reconnect the water supply tubes to the Water Filter Base. Install a new water filter.
The repair was fast and easy .I removed the ice tray , disconnected the wiring connector and lossend two screws. I removed ice maker assy.and repeated in reverse order to install. I also installed a new water filter. I had ice in about 20 minutes.
