Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
my stove quit woking from the push button panel
First I unplug the stove and then started to take off the back panel off behind the stove. Then I took the relay panel off by taking the four screws, that holds the relay in place. Now it took me a few minutes to unplug the wires from the relay panel. Let me tell you that these wires were really hard to pull off the relay. After a few minutes later then I started to put the new relay panel back on. The wires were easy to put back on the new relay. Then I put the back panel back on and then plug the stove back in. After that the power was back on and the new panel fixed my issue.
Used a nut driver to take off upper silver back off. Took one wire off at a time and rewired new timer. Used same nut driver to remove old timer,stuck on old cover on new timer and screwed it it. Rescrewed back on, plugged it in and it works great.
Unplugged range and cut wires on existing burner plug. Connected the replacement plug with the provided wire-nuts. Secured with provided shrink-wrap. Reattached burner plug to to range top, and plugged in the burner coil. Presto.
Watching the video showed an easy, unscrew and screw back on process while connecting the wires back. It was really that simple. Once it was complete (not even 10mins), plugged it back in, and its been working great since.
Oven would not get up or stay up to selected temperature
Pull stove out to get behind it,unplug temperature probe plug. Remove temp probe from oven by removing the screw holding it in place on back of oven. Cut plug off temp probe unit leaving as much lead wire as possible on plug end. Strip wires on new probe and end of plug wires(one quarter inch). Then I used two small butt connectors to join the stripped wires,one for each pair of wires. Two small wire 'nuts' may also be used as the connections are outside the oven and not exposed to the heat of the oven while it is in operation. Hope this helps the inexperienced 'do it yourselfers'--:)
Instructions included with terminal block assembly. Toughest part was to strip the insulator off of the old wires on the stove. I was originally going to just purchase one but after looking at the other terminal blocks and seeing the burnt insulation and some of the wire strands, I just replaced all 4. PartSelect customer sevice was very helpful to confirm the correct part number I needed for my stove.
prepared the parts as directions displayed, removed the heating coils and popped the hood on the range, simple curcit 2 wires in to the main harness for each coil. snip, plug and twist add heat wrap to seal the new conections and done very simple fix saved me buying another oven....for now
After a power outage or bake and broil features stopped working, but the rest of the appliance worked fine. I wasn't sure if it was the clock part or the temp probe, but decided the cost replacing both parts was less than a repairman. So first, I watched the video link on the part's page...extremely helpful! Then it was a matter of a few screws and unplugging and re-plugging a few wires. I have NO electrical experience, and very little handy-man experience. This is a simple repair that anyone could do. I am most amazed with PartSelect because it literally took 24 hrs after placing the order for it to arrive on my doorstep. And it saved us an estimated $175 in repairman labor fees. I disconnected the power cord,took the top back plate off,the switch knob on the switch I was to change,the two screws holding it.pull the old switch out,place the new one in the holder,replaced the two screws that holds the switch and took the wires off the old switch one at a time and placed them on the new one in order on new switch.replaced the back cover and plugged power cord back in.turned range on,it was good. r taite,
Lift stove top cover up and support cover so it will not fall down unplug element put new one in close cover and turn burning on and watch the burner get red hot. simple job why call a repair man in. Vicki
WE watched the installation videos first. Very helpful. Removed rear hood cover, jotted down wiring connections, ensured that the brackets were secure ( one was not ), applied overlay,attached wires and tightened 4 screws( not supplied ). On-line photo was upside down but was the correct part. Delivery was prompt.
