Light in my refrigerator didn't work.
At first I went to a local part supplier and they didn't have it in stock but could order it for me for $55.00 plus $10.00 to ship it. I told them I would have to think about it. I went home and got on the computer and found your web site and was I shocked when I saw the same part listed for $6.98 and $7.00 to ship it. You guys saved me $50.00. The part arrived in two day and took 5 min. to install. I now have light in my refrigerator. Thank you.

Switch was not working after a repairman had fixed something else
Please bear in mind I am 65 years old & it was harder to get up & down off the floor then to change the switch. Was very easy - watched video, unplugged unit. I used the putty knife at the right front corner to work loose, when it came loose had to loose the left side a little. The unit pulled out easily. detached the wired that had a single plug with 2 prongs on it. Attached the plug, pushed new switch into place. There was no way you could place wires on wrong prong. When done, plugged refrigerator back in & checked if working. I CAN SEE THE LIGHT and the food in the freezer now. Thank you for making an easy repair.

In the morning it was water all over the floor, Fridge stop blowing cool air
Take off the cover of compressor area (lower back of the fridge)Take off the cover of the Compressor Relay and Overload, using flat screw driver; then pull the over load first or you can pull both at the same time; use Pliers and flat screwdriver (ps take a picture for position of the relays and wires colors before), replace old parts with the new ones and put them back, NOTE: before plug it back you may like to check the condenser coil, this is the best time to clean it, if is really bad that can be the reason of relay failure.

Crisper Drawer Cracked
Ordered new drawer. New drawer seems to be better than factory drawer (slightly thicker). Removed old, removed white handle from old (ran hot water over old to make it less prone to cracking when prying off), pushed old white handle onto new drawer, inserted new drawer, done. New drawer is great; better construction. Thanks.

Light in the refrigerator didn't work
I did exactly as the video showed. I popped out the old switch, disconnected the two terminals, connected the new switch and put it back. The light now works! The refrigerator is over 25 years old and the switch works! What a great website this is. Couldn't of done the job without Partselect's help.

Noisy Motor
Pulled refrigerator away fom wall. Removed cardboard cover at back bottom to reveal fan motor. The space available to remove the motor from the bracket is very limited, so smaller hands will be a plus! Tried to get a nut wrench on motor but there was hardly enough room. Finally was able to use a socket set to remove bolts. I would suggest you spray a solvent on the motor mount bolts and seat them in the new motor first. It was near to impossible to get them started in the mount, without seating them first. The electrical clip that connects to the motor fit on the new motor, so I did not have to splice any wiring. This made the job a little easier. Finally, replaced cardboard cover and moved refrigerator back against the wall. .

Door Gasket was riped off. hot air was getting in side and food did not stay cold.
I removed the screws on top of the refrigerator and the freezer door, lifted the fresh food door off bottom hinge laid it on a covered floor, used a pair of wire cutters to cut old gasket. then pulled the gasket straight out all the way around. then I started on one corner using a putty knife to push the new gasket under plastic trim, then put gasket on opposite corner at top of door then did the same with other two corners, then used putty knife to go all the way around sliding gasket under trim. was easy.
