Heater element broken
I removed the lower front panel of the dishwasher to expose wheels and opened door and removed two screws holding washer to cabinet. After raising leveling feet pulled washer out to expose bnotton ow dishwasher. Removed the electrical wires form the heating element and removed screw caps holding the heaqting element in place. Removed the old element and inserted the new, then reversed process to get it back together. It was very easy to do following the instructions I received when I ordered the part.
Removed the bottom plate/cover. Unscrew top from bracket. Lucky, had just enough room to pull washer out. Only 6 in. Sleeve had broken off. Needle nose plyers to unhook spring. Slide sleeve over hinge. Hard Part///. Pull spring back into place. with door shut. good luck.
I just recently purchased a new house and quickly became frustrated with the dishwasher. The top rack kept falling and interfering with the cycle and loading/unloading was an annoying pain! I investigated purchasisng a new dishwasher even though it wasn't in my budget. I decided to investigate fixing it myself. I was surprised the part was so easy to find and identify on the site. I was elated! It arrived quickly and the dishwasher was fixed in a matter of minutes. The part simply clicked into place! Instead of $500+ for a new appliance, I was saved by a $40 part (with S/H)! I love PartSelect!
The upper rack for this dishwasher is adjustable. The rack attachment on the upper right side broke and the rack did not stay in position. We ordered the part it arrived promptly and my husband snapped the part into place. Perfect..
To perform this repair do the following: 1.) Turn off power to the dishwasher 2.) Turn off water, disconnect the water supply and drain using adj. wrench and/or nutdriver, remove any contents from inside 3.) Remove screws (2) from underside cabinet, remove kick plate from bottom by removing two (2) screws there, pull out washer gently providing slack to drain hose and water line 4.) Gently place washer on side, do not invert or lean on the front side, water may enter control panel and damage it 5.) Remove the water line from Inlet valve using adj. wrench 6.) Disconnect both wires from solenoid. 7.) There is one metal screw holding the valve in place, remove it with a nutdriver, slide valve assembly out. 8.) Remove the 90 degree brass angle fitting from old valve, this may require some effort. Using thread tape, install fitting on new valve assembly. 9.) Replace parts in reverse order, using thread tape on any additional water line fittings requiring it, restoring water and power last. 10.) Run a test wash and check for leaks. Hope this helps, it did appear to fix my problem.

Worn out door gasket
Easy to do. Less than fifteen minutes total and only tool required was a screw driver. Simply pulled out the old gasket by hand and then pressed in the new one with the screw driver. Anyone could do this.
worn gasket was fraying at bottom of door, leaking
just pulled old gasket out. New gasket took 2 attempts to fit in properly, but simple to do. Very easy to press into groove. Fit like a glove! Website drawings made choosing part very easy, thanks
Latch on dispenser cracked so it did not close properly.
Took me longer to find my tools than to do the repair. DId have to call the PartSelect 800 # while making repair but woman there read to me a note in their system about a redesign of the replacement part that explained exactly my question. She was VERY helpful. I will not be calling the appliance repairman again!
It was very simple to remove the old wheel and replace with the new one. Everything snapped out of and into place so no tools were needed and it only took about 3 minutes to complete.

Dishes were not drying properly
Did the repair, but needed one extra step not described in video:
I followed the directions on the PartSelect Youtube video - very helpful! I do believe the heating element was the original culprit, as it had a "burn" area about the size of a dime that caused it to almost break into two parts. Obviously a point of failure.
BUT - after replacement, it still did not solve the problem of the dishes not drying.
After much web searching, I tried the diagnostic mode on the dishwasher, and that did a hard reset of the logic board and FIXED the problem.
So in all, it required both a new heating element AND a hard reset via diagnostic mode.
Turned off water supply. Then removed water supply line, secondary hose, and screw securing inlet valve. Valve will slide out. Removed brass elbow fitting from old valve. Applied plumbers putty to threads on both ends of elbow and attached to new valve. Installed new valve and secured with screw. Re-attached hose and supply line. Turned water supply back on and checked for leaks.
Drained washer with hand pump. Thermo fuse had blown. Removed control panel and substituted a 15 amp automotive ATC fuse, shimming the blades with aluminum foil. Removed dishwasher from counter niche. Tipped dishwasher, removed and inspected drain pump and recirculating pump. No apparent problems noted. Temporarily rerouted supply and drain lines and restarted. Grinding noise clearly came from the drain pump. Ordered new drain pump and replaced.replaced 20 amp thermo fuse.
