11081422510 Kenmore Washer Dryer Combo - Instructions

It was a no-brainer repair. We removed the worn hose and replaced it with the new one. Only variable was that the new clamp was too big for our fitting, so we used the old one. The clamp was the only mechanical thing we did. The best part was the very prompt delivery of the new part and the help finding it from the rep at the company.

Ordered part ( door latch ) flowed instructions easily fixed same.

Removed back cover of entire dryer.The thermostat was accessible from that point(Just as diagram showed), removed two wires from thermostat, removed thermostat & replaced with new thermostat & plugged 2 wires back in just as instructions indicated. Very simple,15 minute job. I will certainly use again for any appliance repairs.

After removing the front of the dryer it was evident that the blower boss had broken where the motor shaft comes through and is attached. I removed a few more parts to make the blower more accessible and removed it. I then machined a new boss and attached it to the blower and reinstalled it.I then did a quick continuity check on the three thermostats since the dryer was already apart.I discovered one was faulty and ordered a new one from you.That repair took all of five minutes.The irony of the whole thing is that while I was ordering the thermostat from you,I asked out of curiosity,if the blower was still available. As it turns out it still is but the new machined part worked out great and the dryer was back up and running in no time.

the repair itself went reasonably well, following the instructions that you provided, but it still isn't working well. Is it possible that I put it in upside down?

ordered wrong limit switch had to reorder right switch and decided to replace the heater element as well. works fine now

My husband and a friend did the work. I was not there but was told that there was no problem. Everything is working well now.

Stuck it in, done. The really good thing was your website - the BEST I've ever used to order anything on the web, bar none. SO clear, SO organized, SO logical, SO easy to use. Took the back off the dryer. Disconnected the old thermostat and installed the new thermostat. Connected the back of dryer. Put in a load of clothes to dry and the clothes were dry on the first try. Works like a new dryer. Saved a lot of money not having to buy a new dryer when all I had to do was replace some old parts.

went well but alas the problem still exists.

I took the top of the Agitator off and then, used a socket set to take the Agitator off and then removed the retaining cap nd removed the dog ears that were broken and placed the new onews in, and then reinstalled the agitator then started up the washer it worked fine. I then started to wash a load of dirty clothes. Another fine job well done. Thank you for having the parts here real quick

Pulled out the broken part than easily snapped the new part into place..

I did a quick research online and found PartSelect to have the best price. I ordered my part on Monday 8/6 and to my tremendous surprise FedEx delivered it Tuesday 8/7!! I did not pay for overnight delivery. My son happened to come by that day and he took a small flathead screwdriver, pried the old one out and inserted the new part. Done in 5 minutes! PartSelect will be my supplier from now on.
