Washer would not drain.
Removed three screws holding the cover, then one screw holding the pump assembly in place. After unplugging the power, it took two minutes to remove the clamp-rings from the hoses. The reverse was equally idiot-proof! But THIS "idiot" had 10-thumbs which added to the time to replace the lock rings! Added an extra 5 minutes at most! _grin_
Take off top of washer and the flowmeter is in the back lefthand corner on the top of the washer. Replaced the water level switch on the top righthand of the machine also. Got about 150. 00 Total invested w/service call from local tech. F-20 has not came back yet. I hoped it fixed it washer is only 3 yrs. Old. -Gd
Tub was filling with water while washer was not in use
Shut off water supply, unplug washer. Remove screws on fir the top of washer, remove supply lines for water, lift top of washer off, unclip wires going into outlet value, reclip wires into new part, put parts back into place, secure lid and hoses, turned water supple back on plug in washer and put washer back into place, there you go. Oh, one more thing, make sure you check for leaks prior to hut washer back into place. Easy as pie
First I removed the retainer ring and then pulled back enough of the boot to get the door switch out and plugged in the new switch put the retainer ring back on and it was finished. With out the repair book I would have been lost on how to do the job.
Shut off water. Unplug electric. Remove top panel. Unhook hoses. Unhook tubing unplug solenoid. Use torx to remove part. Reverse steps to install new part. Replace top panel. Hook up water & electric.
it was a really easy fix. unclamped the 2 hoses and took out screw, removed water pump. Connected two hoses back and set in place then screwed in locking screw. could not have been any easier.
Easy fix, I remove the front lower panel and the shocks where right in front of you , with a little twist with an adjustable wrench the cam right off . I removed and the replaced and it the same when you remove the back panel. P.S when installing the shocks start by connecting to the bottom and then connect to the drum it will make it lot easier. Good luck on your repair
Washer was on a 13 inch high platform I built for front.load Heat washer and dryer. Removed 3.screws from bottom of front panel and had access to all 4 shocks..front and rear. All shocks were unattachedeither at base or on tub. Easy to install all 3 from front without moving Mach. I figured if 1 or 2 shocks failed the violent.movement broke the other 2. Purrs like.a.kitten now. No bearing.or spring.damage.
First I made sure the washer was unplugged from the outlet and I took out 3 screws that held the front panel and removed it to get access to the pump. I disconnected the electrical plug to the pump and there were 3 phillips head screws that held the pump in place that needed to removed. Pulled out the old pump and slide the new one in it's place with no prorblems. Tighten the 3 screws on and plugged it back in and away we went washing clothes again.
Took off bottom panel by removing 3 torx screws. Opened up door seal, removed three latch retaining screws, unplugged three wiring harnesses. Installed new latch and reinstalled in reverse order.
