EZ repair! With the help of your sales / tech we determined the part I needed. I revived it on time and one and a half hours later, my microwave was repaired and reinstalled!!
Part was new and easy to install even though there were no instructions.

On the microwave, the button shows that the fan is on and goes through the power levels, but the fan does not come on. Do you think this is the issue? Replace the fan?

Hello Mike,
Thanks for your question. The fan motor assembly is a potential cause for this issue; however, it could also be due to a clogged charcoal or air filter. Consider examining both of those parts to see if they are clogged. If not, you may wish to test the fan motor with a multimeter for electrical continuity, replace it if it shows no continuity.
I hope this helps.
Microwave heats food, turntable works, but doesn't sound right. Seems like a fan used to run when i used the microwave. Convection fan works when using convection. Vent fans come on when pressing the fan button.
