How much resistance should there be when testing the lower element?
For model number Fef369hcf
Hello Daniel, thank you for your question. To remove and test the bake element, slide the element forward and remove the wires by removing the screws from the terminals or by pulling wires off the bake element terminals. Remember to label the wires for future reference. Visually check the entire element for signs of burn. Test the element for continuity. Using the ohmmeter, set the range scale on R x 1 and place the probes on the element terminals. There should be continuity, with readings ranging from 19 to 115 ohms. Readings will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and according to unit size and the wattage. Be sure to check your manual for the manufacturer's specifications. If there are any signs of element burning, or if there is no continuity, replace the element. To test for a grounded bake element, place one probe on the element outer surface and the other on the element terminal. If continuity exists, the element has shorted and should be replaced. Remember to test both terminals. I hope this helps!

Hello, the lower element (part no 316206000) of my Kenmore stove is hardly heating and was going to order the element but what are the chances of it being a thermostat problem? Can I refund or exchange the parts? Thx pierre
Hello Pierre, Thank you for the question. Once the part is installed it can not be returned. It is best to test the sensor before placing the order or installing the parts. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!

When I turn on the oven the broil comes on.
For model number 790.96213403
Hi Dino, you would need the control board part PS3419407. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
Fridgidaire oven won't turn off. What's the best course of action. And is it ok to leave the power on and still use the cook top? Oven stays off when I turn power on
For model number GCRE3038AFE
Hello Robert, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend you replace the control board. The control board has relays that send voltage to the bake and broil circuits according to the user settings and sensor input. If one of the control board relays shorts closed, the control board may or may not send continuous voltage to the heating circuit. If the oven continues to heat or it does not turn on after it is turned off, the control board is likely defective. Also, you can use the cooktop if the power is on. But it is better advised to turn off the power when the oven is not in use. The part number for the control board is PS12728881. We hope this information is useful!
The part I need on your site shows it’s compatible at the top but then at bottom doesn’t show the model number listed of my oven so I need to verify it will work.
Frigidaire stove. I need an oven heating element. Can you let me know which part to order. Thank you

Hello Candice, thank you for your inquiry. The bake element you mentioned is the lower element in your oven, and it is compatible with your model. The broil element for your model is part number PS439673, and it is located on the roof of the oven. Glad to be of assistance!
