Very easy repair
I don’t think I’ll find anything as easy to install as this fuel pump.

Starts 1st time and runs well for 20-30 minutes. Then it loses power. Sometimes it goes back to full power for awhile and then drops power again. It has 915 hours on it, what might be the main problem as i have changed oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs , vent tube to fuel pump and new blades. Have never touched carb or valves.

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for your question. If the fuel in the gas tank is more than a month old, it can break down and cause the engine to stall. If this is the case you will need to drain the fuel from the tank. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi, I'm trying to repair a Toro 71199 S/N 240000675 Wheel Horse. I've narrowed the problem down to the NIKKI brand carburetor. Fuel comes directly from the tank to the carb, I don't see a fuel pump at all. Why is it listed on your site for this engine model 2199017-0170-E1. I see there are 2 NIKKI carburetor options. I'm looking for the one without the fuel shut-off solenoid.

Hi Dana, Thank you for the question. The Carburetor Used Before Code Date 08121500 is PartSelect Number PS9983987. The Carburetor Used After Code Date 08121400 is PartSelect Number PS9035173. We hope this helps!
