This is an Authentic OEM replacement part used on Lawn and Garden Engines. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine.
If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.
This Assembly includes a Metal Body Carburetor, Rubber O-Ring and a Gasket. When replacing Carburetor it is advised that you also replace Carburetor Gaskets to ensure proper Air Tight Seal for optimum performance. You will need a Screwdriver to perform this repair.

What model carburator does this engine use
For model number 125k02 -0281
Hello Richard,
Thank you for your question. There are three different types of carburetors your engine could use, it depends on the type that is already on your model or the one suggested in your manual. The primer system carburetor is under part PS9152797, the choke system carburetor is under part PS8983368, and the auto choke system carburetor is under part PS10015132 for your model. We hope this helps!

With main jet cleaned, vertical pipe (emulsion tube) clear, new gasket on air box, primer bulb ‘good’…. no fuel is being seen coming out of emulsion tube when primer bulb is ‘mashed’….even pressed 5 times (it says press bulb 3 times).
For model number 12L1902 0667 E1
Hi Calvin, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, you may need to check the carburetor for clogging. You may need to overhaul the carburetor by using the carburetor kit, part number PS8984098, to fix the issue. We hope this will resolve your problem!
