oven light falied
This item was listed as fitting my GE wall oven. On arrival it appeared to be the exact part I needed. However upon my attempt to install it I found that the attached male electrical connector was very slightly different from the original part and it would not fit the female connector. At first I thought perhaps I could make a slight modi

Therefore I decided to use a terminal disconnect tool to unlock the wires from the connector and then I re-used my old connector. It worked! My wall oven is now operational again and my wife is very happy! P.S., I have been very happy with Parts Select for the availability of old parts and their superb instructional videos. Any instructions on installing part WB25X20199. (Light Assembly)
For model number JT3000SF2SS
Hello James, thank you for the question. Based on our research, we are providing you with instructions that will help you replace the light assembly.
1- Disconnect power at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel.
2- Remove oven racks.
3- Slide a flat-blade screwdriver between the housing and the glass light cover.
4- Support the glass light cover with two fingers to prevent the cover from falling to the bottom of the oven.
5- Gently twist the screwdriver blade to loosen the glass.
6- Remove the glass light cover.
7- Remove the bulb by firmly grasping and sliding the bulb straight out until the two prongs have cleared.
8- Do not touch the glass of the new replacement bulb with your fingers. It will cause the bulb to fail when it lights up. Grasp the replacement bulb with a clean towel or facial tissue, with the prongs facing down. Align the two prongs in the ceramic holder, pressing gently until the bulb is securely in the ceramic socket.
9- Slide the protective lens into the holder and push until the clips snap into the housing.
10- Reconnect power.
We hope this helps.
