We need to level our dishwasher and we are having a hard time leveling it up or down. It won't turn. Is there a screw or a mechanism that we are overlooking?
For model number SHX43C05UC
Hello and thank you for writing.
times the legs tend to seize due to debris. You can either try soaking them with warm soapy water or spray wd 40 to try to loosen them up.
Fit an adjustable wrench to the dishwasher feet. Turn the left foot clockwise to lower the leg to your desired height.
Hold a torpedo level to the bottom of the closed dishwasher door. Lower the right leveling leg by turning the foot clockwise with the adjustable wrench. As you lower the leg, monitor the bubble inside the horizontal glass tube on the torpedo level. When the bubble floats between the two vertical lines marked on the tube, stop turning the right leveling foot.
Tighten the screws holding the dishwasher mounting brackets to the underside of the countertop. Place the toe panel on the bottom of the dishwasher. Secure it with the screws you removed previously. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet or turn the circuit breaker on to provide power to the dishwasher.
We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
