It appears that the dishwasher is not filling completely, or as much water as needed. Pump runs out of water before reaching correct pumping pressure. If i add about a quart of water it works correctly. Could the float switch be sensing too soon? Any ideas?
For model number SHE55M16UC/64
Hi Lawrence,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is not filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the valve access, the water inlet valve and the float switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher works great but after the cycle is finished, water comes back in the dishwasher. What should i do?
For model number SHU43C05UC/14
Hello Tony, thank you for inquiring. You will want to replace either the Water Fill Sensor Assembly part number PS8723739 or this Float Switch part number PS8697040 for your model to fix this. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!

Water wouldn’t go into the dishwasher. I disconnected the hose from the water supply, ran the water and it was full of rust. Is there a filter on the dishwasher that may need replacing?
For model number SGS3022/12
Hello Harold, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, you may need to check the filter of the water inlet valve to solve the problem. The filter does not come separately. It comes with the sealing, part number PS8697172. Glad to be of help!
