While installing, the bold wasn't at the proper angle and it pushed the nut and it's harness through the hole and "into" the body of the microwave. Can the replacement nut be installed from the outside of the microwave or do i have to remove the shell and install from within?
For model number KMHS120EWH5
Hello Kevin, Thank you for your inquiry. You should just be able to remove the damper or top and be able to install the nut that way. As a precaution, since microwaves can hold power even when unplugged, we advise you to make sure the capacitor or magnetron is fully discharged by creating a short circuit (direct connection) between the two capacitor terminals and from each terminal to chassis ground (bare metal surface) before attempting the installation. Hope this helps!

Hi, should there be a total of two of these nuts? The diagram only shows 1 under part #11 but there is clearly two holes and two mounting screws that hold the microwave in place. I only have 1 nut on mine and need to know if i should order another. Thanks!
For model number WMH31017AS4
Hi Nick,
Thank you for your question. If there are 2 mounting holes and 2 screws, then you would need 2 nuts to secure the screws. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
