I am getting an overflow error code on my dishwasher. During the cycle water will come out from the bottom of the door. The valve is still serviceable. When i look inside the water level appears to be much higher than in the past. What parts could be faulty? Float or sensor of some type?
For model number LDF8072ST
Hi Philip,
Thank you for your question. Yes, I would suggest checking your float first. That does seem like the most likely part to be the issue if your valve is still working correctly. You can test your float with a multi meter to double check. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My dishwasher is displaying error code AE and the sump is empty. What level sensor do I need for this model and where is it located on the machine. I have replaced the pump and have no obstructions in the drain
For model number ldt9965bd
Hello Dave, The AE error code indicates a possible leak from the unit. This message is usually the result of an overflow, caused by either the unit not being level or the wrong type or amount of detergent. The Flow Sensor is PS3529176. We are pleased to have been able to help.
