How do i install a hose and water inlet that now leaks. Part # ps756807. Looks like i have to remove the top of the washing machine.
For model number WWSE5200B2WW
Hello Tim, Thank you for your inquiry. You would have to open up the console first, usually there will be screws at the back you can undo and you may need a putty knife to release any tabs. Lay the front of the control console down and you should now be able to access the valve and inlet hose. Use a pair of pliers to compress the clamp so you can move it down the hose and take the hose off the valve. You may need a flat head screw driver to break it free. Then lift the console back into place, not attaching the screws for the moment. Then lif the lid and reach underneath with a quarter inch nut driver to take out the screws that hold the water inlet assembly in place, then pull out the hose and water inlet assembly. Use pliers to transfer the clamp from the old assembly to the new assembly and put the new assembly in place. It can be a good idea to attach the two screws that hold the assembly first so once you get it in place you can get it started with your fingers then tighten them with a nut driver. Tilt the console forward slightly while you putting the hose and water assembly in place to get the screws lined up properly and attach them. Close the like and lift up the console again to put the hose back onto the water inlet valve and use pliers to push the clamp into place, then replace the console and re-attach the screws. Hope this helps!
