Perfect fit water pump
Back from vacation and no water from fridge. Tried everything and figured it might be the pump. Got the part number and placed the order. It arrived a few days later and install was very straightforward. Would recommend Partselect.

No water thru the door.
Removed the bad inlet valve and installed the replacement. Very easily done. The replacement part made the repair so simple and saved me a huge amount over calling a repair man. It did not take any special knowledge.

GE refrigerator model #gfe27gsdess. The water is dispensing very slowly from the door and the ice cubes appear to be much smaller but it is still making ice. This started happening all of a sudden with no reason. I changed out the filter with no change. Could the problem be the main water inlet valve located at the back rear of the appliance or would it be the dual valve located in the door? Thanks for the response
For model number GFE27GSDESS
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. When replacing the filter it is important to flush the filter a couple of times before using it so it will work correctly. If this is not done, you may have water issues like you are describing. Another issue could be the water filter. You will need to inspect the part and test it with a multimeter to see if it is causing this issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The bottom ice not getting water but the door has ice and water, could it be the maker of the valve
For model number GFE29HSDASS
Hello Roger, thank you for your question. The issue could be the icemaker or the water valve. We would recommend testing the water valve port that supplies that icemaker and if that is ok, the icemaker should be replaced. Here is a link on how to test that part.

Is there a manual for this machine? It appears that there are 3 solenoid valves there are two down low in the back near the compressor and one in the door . It is easy to replace the ones down low but im not sure about getting at the one in the door. All the valves operate but the water dispenser is very slow even with a new filter
For model number GFE28HMHDES
Hello Matt, thank you for your question. You can find the manual at the following link. The valve is found behind the cover on the inside of the door where the reservoir tank is as well. I hope this helps!

The refrigerator will not make ice or dispenser water. The controller panel controls seems to be ok. The only thing that different is the when i press the glass dispense button, i can hear the solenoid turn on but it does sound as loud as it used to. I checked the water into the unit is ok. I thinking part # ps6883668 may fix the problem. Any ideas? Thanks stephen wolanin
For model number GFE29HSDASS
Hello Stephen, thank you for your question. It does sound like a water valve issue. There are two water valves in the unit, part number WR57X10098 and WR55X11128. I would recommend testing them to determine which one is faulty. I hope this helps!

My ice maker does not work. I put a new one in it, but no water goes to the unit. Water does come out the door just not to the ice maker. Could it be the water valve?
For model number PFE28PSKBSS
Hello Michael, Thank you for the question. If the new ice maker did not fix the issue, the next part would be the water valve. Hope this helps!

I have a GE refrigerator and I am not getting any water to either ice cube maker nor the water dispenser in the door, I am thinking of replacing the water valve (part number WR55X11128). Or could it be something else?
For model number GFE28HMHFES
Hello Jim, thank you for asking. It could be as simple as a faulty Water Filter PS10063209. A clogged water filter can also cause a refrigerator not to dispense water or ice. Ensure the water filter hasn't been installed incorrectly. If still no go, replace the Water Inlet valves, PS8690734, PS6011774 and PS6883668. We hope this is of some help to you.
Ice maker does not get water, but water dispensers works properly. Is this a valve issue?
For model number PFE28KMKBES
Hi Milan, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend that you check the water pressure. If it is okay, check the water lines because they could be plugged or frozen. If the problem still persists, we recommend you replace the water inlet valve, part number PS8690734. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Will this part stop my water dispenser from dripping?
For model number PYE22PSHBSS
Hello Jeff, Thank you for your inquiry. It is the top part that can cause this issue, the other thing to check is for air in the water lines. We hope this helps.

I need the water tube that hooks into item 900. Can you tell me what tube that is? The one pictured doesn't look like the one attached to my fridge.
For model number GFE29HSDASS
Hello Sandra, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the tube lead connecting with the water inlet valve is the part number PS8757976. Glad to be of assistance!
