The lid lock keeps burning out. Literally burning. Washer will not advance to spin and then the lid lock starts burning

Thank you for your question. I would suggest probably replacing your lid lock switch. You may also want to check your wiring and make sure everything is fine. You may have some wiring damage and that is why your part is getting ruined. You could take a look at your timer or even your washer capacitor being the issue but I would suggest the other parts first. If you are not able to determine what part is causing your issue, you may have to speak with a local technician to come and service your appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
