One of the drain tubes is not draining into the drip pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. It appears to be the one from the refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator cooling coils at the base of the refrigerator compartment are freezing as water does not seem to drain from the refrigerator compartment. Is there some type of obstruction i should be looking for? Is there a valve in this line? What is the procedure for clearing the tube? Do i have to disassemble the entire refrigerator shell to gain access to these drains?

Hi Phil,
Thank you for your question. When water does not drain from a refrigerator, there may be debris or food particles from the refrigerator clogging the tube. In some cases, water trying to drain sits there and sometimes freezes. You will need to check the drain for debris and clean it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
