Dishwasher Water Pump
Partselect.com shipped the part the morning after I purchased. It arrived quickly and most importantly it was the correct part. I replaced this part and now my dishwasher works perfectly once again. This is a definite 5 Star Review!

Working as expected
Delay in receiving due to not being in stock. Although, faster than other places who did not have it in stock either. Not as easy to install as in video. Videos always have unit out where you can easily get to everything. A lot harder when you have to work on it where it is installed. Reaching under dishwasher trying to replace part with very little room for tools or even you hands is a bit of a challenge. Got it done though, took about an hour and didn't loose too much blood rubbing arm along bottom of door. LOL. Part fits fine and operates perfectly. So all good in the end.

Water isn't coming into the dishwasher
For model number GDF520PGD0BB
Hi Deloris,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not filling with water, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve, the flood switch and the door latch. You will find the information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
GE dishwasher, model #gdf520pgd0bb seems to be hanging between cycles. You can hear it filling with water when you turn it on. however when the water stops flowing nothing happens for quite a long time (10+ minutes) before the wash/spray cycle starts which only runs for a short time before it stops and rests for what seems to be way to long before it washes/sprays again for a short time. dishes are not getting clean and there are blobs of soap on the floor inside the dishwasher by the bottom of the door.
replaced the flood switch, thinking the water level was inadequate or it was not sending the proper signal to start the next cycle, but that has not solved the problem. i did not replace the water inlet valve as i can hear water flowing into the dishwasher and it sounds like it's spraying around and the the surfaces inside of the dishwasher all seem wet after it finally gets around to spraying/washing? it is also plenty hot as it fogs my classes when i open the door between cycles.
i noticed that when i turn the dishwasher off mid cycle or after the spray/wash cycle the drain pump runs for a very long time after it has run out of water to drain. at best it sounds like its actually pumping water about 1/4 of the time it's running?
there is plenty of water reaching the inlet side of the water valve.
i'm stumped. appreciate your help.
thank you,
gary

Hi Gary, thank you for your question. It looks like there are a few parts that you should check when your appliance is not starting properly. First you may want to check your door switch and second you may want to actually take a look at the flood switch of your appliance as well. You could also check your turbidity sensor. If those parts are fine then you may need to look into your heating element being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

On the yellow housing where the hot water comes into the unit ( i believe #744) i need the 4 screws to connect the unit together. Or i need to know the size... any ideas?

Hi, on our GE dishwasher when in cycle i cannot get water to go thru the diverter to feed the top and middle washer arms . I am suspecting the water inlet valve is defective. With the power off i check the continuity with a meter and am not getting a high reading . Any thoughts on this or if it could be something else , there are no clogs in the diverter or the conduit going to the sprayer arms ...there is very good pressure and water flow to the front of the diverter assembly but nothing to the rear that leads to the middle and top sprayer arms.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your question. It could be the valve but it might also be your pump that is the issue. I would suggest checking your pump as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
