Very Easy Install!
Let me say I’m NOT a handy person, but rather than pay someone to replace this part I thought I could tackle it... I’m glad I did, it was so easy! The parts came in a week after ordering and took all of 2 minutes to replace. The hardest part was unscrewing the dishwasher door, if you can even consider that difficult. Worked great!

Easy repair, included tech notes on restarting
Great instructions inside, color pictures, good English and a very helpful warning page about the procedure to follow when powering up the dishwasher after replacing the boards.

Hello Lavern, thank you for contacting us. The correct part number for the control panel would be PS3650593 this would be black. Good luck with the repair!
A GE dealer shows a part # wd34x11784. Did i order the same part or did i order something different? Don"t want to get the wrong part.
For model number GLD5604V00BB
Hi Lavern,
Thank you for your question. If you are looking for your touchpad this would not be the correct part. I have listed the correct control panel/touch pad according to your model number below. I hope that helps. If you are looking for any other parts, always look underneath your model information and the parts you see there will be correct. Good luck with your repair.
I bought and installed your kit. After the Test/calibration mode I was able to run the dishwasher once. It will not start. I've turned the power off for an hour and when I turn it back on the Clean light blinks. The Options and Cycle lites have not worked following installation. It appears the circuit boards are faulty. Can you offer some advice?
For model number GLD4560V00SS
Hi Gerald, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the interlock switch, part number PS1021382, and check the control tactile assembly kit, part number PS4704220, for continuity. To test the control board properly, touch the multimeter probes to the test points present on the board. Make sure while doing this step that you have your hands on the plastic portion of the probes. You can then go on to check either the voltage or resistance. When measuring the resistors’ resistance, connect one probe to the end of each resistor. We hope this solves your problem!
Dishwasher works except for the Rinse cycle which sometimes functions - perhaps 1:50 times tried (!). Is this the part that we need or do we need a different part?
For model number GLD5664V00SS
Hi Eve, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the issue is with the tactile control assembly. Yes, you may need to replace the tactile control assembly, part number PS4704220, that you mentioned, to fix the issue. Good luck with your repair!
