part fit perfectly
There are 3 10-32 stainless screws holding this part on. In 10 years this is the second one where the screws came loose. And wiped out the heating coil. This time I put it together with red lock tight.

Does the concaved opening go towards the heatinf element or does the flat end go towards the heating element?
For model number FER641FS0
Hello Seth, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the heating element goes in the concave side of the baffle. We hope this information helps!

How do you replace the baffle? The dryer makes noise when it starts and when it stops. A thumping noise occurs. I replaced the drum bearing with kit, it still does it. You can turn the drum by hand and you can hear it. Any help would be welcome. Thank you.
For model number gler331as2
Hello Bob,
Thanks for your question. This issue is likely arising from the lower felt seal (part number PS832645) and the upper felt seal (PS832644) rather than the baffle heater.
I hope this helps.
I replaced every part except motor and blower assy. Still makes a noise when it starts and stops what can it be?
For model number gler331as2
Hello Bob, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the drive motor with a multimeter to see if it has continuity. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

When i try to start the diet the drum shakes, the rear moves to the side and it binds up until the motor shuts off. Is this the part I most likely need?
