Lights come on but water doesn't enter tub or drain and no matter what you select for options (normal, rinse & spin, etc.) nothing happens. Was working fine, but when i went to check on the load, all the lights were flashing. The tub was half full with water. Hit pause and all the lights stopped flashing. Selected rinse & spin, but nothing happened. Selected several other choices and nothing happened. Door lock clicks. Any suggestions? We are on small social security and can't afford a repairman.

Hi Willie,
Thank you for your question. If your washer will not fill with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check water inlet valve, the door lock, the water level pressure switch, and the user control and display board. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

The hot water valve won’t open. It’s not a problem with the solenoid; it will open when I plug the cold inlet wire onto it, and it also checks out when testing with my multimeter. No problem with the signal wire back to the plug on the main board. It’s just not getting a signal to open.

Hi Noah, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the water temperature thermistor, part number PS4214274. A partially clogged water inlet valve, part number PS4220861, or a faulty pressure sensor, part number PS8764044, might be the cause of the issue. There is a possibility that the hot water side of the inlet valve is clogged. Please make sure it is free of any debris or particles. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hello Dale, thank you for getting in touch. We would recommend making sure that the water supply to the washer is turned on. If this is not the problem, then you may need to check the pressure switch, part number PS4217081, to fix the issue. It senses and helps control the water level in the washer. Glad to be of assistance!
