When i set the selector for the type of load i have, it hangs up and continues to run with out timer moving. So would this be the timer or something else.
For model number GLTF1670ASO
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. If the timer is working correctly on the other cycles and it is not working on one cycle, then the issue is the timer and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How do I get the control panel off so I can get to the timer?
For model number GLTF1670ASO
Hello Ulrich, thank you for contacting us. We would suggest following these general instructions for removing the control panel of your washer: First, remove the top panel by unscrewing the screws holding the brackets. Slide the top panel slightly forward, and lit it up. Remove the dispenser by pulling it out all the way. Remove the knobs off the control panel. Next, remove the control panel by inserting a putty knife from both sides and giving it a slight push. We hope this helps!
