How to remove the panel that covers the temperature sensor in refrigerator section
For model number RFG295AAWP
Hi Don,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the temperature. The refrigerator in the video may not show exactly like the one you have and temperature sensor may look different, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS304103. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

fridge box always reads 72 degrees set at 36. Freezer reads at set point (-4) is this the sensor I need.
For model number RFG295AARS/XAA
Hello Andrew, thank you for asking! It looks like the refrigerator sensor is faulty. It senses the temperature of the refrigerator and sends a signal to the electronic board. The sensor, part number PS4138603, is compatible with Samsung RFG295AARS/XAA. If it does not help then the electronic control board is most probably faulty. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of assistance!
Does temperature sensor part # ps4138635 work on this model, it showed it in diagram, but on the order it listed models for this part, but not rfg295aawp

Hello Don, thank you for your question. This sensor does go with your specific appliance model number. It is the sensor located behind the cover at the back of the fridge section. I hope this helps!
