Hello Jerry, Thank you for your inquiry. We have found the following instructions for you: 1) remove the cable cover 2) unhook cables 3) remove screw at front of the part that actually makes the ice 4) drop that cover by pushing it right and down 5) push cooling element down slightly as you pull upper unit out 6) lift release tab that is at the bottom front on the back portion of the ice maker 7) remove 2 screws to release left panel 8) remove fan and replace it 9) put it back together in reverse.Hope this helps!

My fridge is not cooling though the freezer is working properly. From what I can see on line, french door Samsung fridges build up ice and stop cooling the fridge only. Just before the fridge stopped cooling the fan made a scrapping noise in the area of the ice maker. I am thinking the fan has burned out from perhaps hitting some ice buildup. The ice maker also stopped working. I am assuming this fan supplies the cool air for the fridge? If so I will need to buy one from you guys.

How do I access the circulating fan, part (ps4138334)? From inside the freezer or from the outside back?
For model number Rf263teaesr/aa
Hi Vince, thank you for reaching out. First, shut off the power supply to the appliance. Open the refrigerator door and pull out the ice bucket. Unthread the screws securing the wire harness cover. Then unthread the screws of the ice maker. Disconnect all wire harnesses attached to the ice maker. Pull straight out the ice maker. Now you can access the auger motor assembly, the circulating fan is attached to it. Release the tabs of the auger motor to pull it out. Now disconnect the circulation fan wire and remove it and install a new one. We hope this information is useful!
