I just replaced the drain pump on my LG direct drive washing machine, I thought the problem was this but when it's done with the spin cycle and goes to dry the load I put in, it is coming out more wet. Could replacing the re-circulation pump motor fix this problem
For model number WM3987HW
Hi Justine, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking to see if there is water filling into the tub while it is spinning. Also make sure it is spinning at a good speed and not to slow. If water is running back into the tub as it spins you may have a defective water inlet valve. You can test the valve with a multimeter to see if it is defective. Hope this helps!

I have a washer LG . The error signal says le .The tub trys to spin ,turns a bit and stops. It says motorlocked .I have tried all the things to reset it but nothing works.
For model number Wm8000hva
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your question. According to the LG website, "An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error with a reduced load size." Here is a link to their website that you may reference on how to resolve this issue, https://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000010-1337701712239-le. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

What is the purpose of the motor part # EAU61383503? It appears to be part of the drain assembly and my drain pump has gone out and I will replace it. However, I am wondering if I should replace the motor with the part # I referenced. It is working fine but I am not sure what it does
Thanks for your help
For model number WM3470HWA
Hi Matt, thank you for your inquiry. Wash pump motor rotates to circulate water in the washer during the wash cycle. You will need to replace the drain pump, part number PS3579318. We hope this information is useful!
