Expensive part, but did the job - Easy to install
The part was an exact replacement, and high quality. Installing it was easy. Expensive, but cheaper than a new fridge!

Water is leaking from a "valve" in right lower rear corner (back of frig) of the LG refrig. The valve is about 3" long, ~5/8" in diameter (white in color) with 'blue' water tubes on each end. I can't find it on your parts drawings. Can i just bypass this part without hurting the ice maker/water spigot?
For model number LSC26905SB
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your inquiry. Based on what you described, you will need to replace the valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

LG refrigerator will not make ice or dispense water
For model number LRSC26923TT
Hello Carolyn, thank you for your question. The first part we would recommend checking is the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is the part that feeds the water to the icemaker and brings water to the dispenser. I hope this helps!

The ice maker will not dispense whole cubes, only crushed. I can see a solinode
That opens a;nd closes a lever that forces cube to be crushed. It will not close or open.

Hello Woodie, thank you for inquiring. This is sometimes an easy fix by first taking out the ice bucket and making sure that the metal arm that extends out from the back of it moves up and down freely, because sometimes ice can jam it up. You will also want to check the plunger that the metal arm sits in to make sure that it also moves up and down freely. If this all checks out fine, then you will probably want to replace the Solenoid Assembly part PS3598227. We hope you find this helpful.
