How to install fan assembly in freezer compartmemt
For model number Lsc26905sw
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your inquiry. Before beginning any repair, unplug the refrigerator. You will need a need a Philips head screw driver and a flat head screw driver. Remove all shelves and drawers from the refrigerator section. Remove the screws from the back of the refrigerator section where the fan motor is located and remove the panel. Unhook the motor from the back of the refrigerator. Use a flat head screw driver to pry the fan blade off of the shaft. When installing the new blade make sure the fins are facing the motor. Place it on the shaft as far as it will go without it touching the case ring.
Once this is done reinstall the motor and put everything back inside the refrigerator like it was before. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
