Not getting cold freezer frosting over was told compessor fan motor and need instruction on replacement proceedure
For model number 79578546800
Hello Roger, thank you for your question. First unplug the unit from the wall. Remove the water supply line from the water inlet valve. There might be some water that falls out. Remove the screws that hold the rear access panel and remove the panel from the back of the unit. Use pliers and a flat blade screwdriver to pry the fan blade off the motor shaft. Use a short Philips head screw driver to remove the motor mount bracket screws. Disconnect the fan motor wire harness and pull the bracket open and lift out the old fan motor. Transfer the rubber mounts from the old motor to the new one and then reverse the steps the install the new part. I hope this helps!

Fridge is not keeping cool, but freezer temp is fine.
For model number LFX28968ST(00)
Hello Tom, thank you for contacting us. Based on the understanding of the issue, we would recommend checking the evaporator fan motor, part number PS7791910, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
My refrigerator is making a fan noise. Cools good but but when ice maker is on the freezer gets water in it. Which fan do I need to replace. It sounds like the one in the rear of unit
For model number LFX25960ST/00
Hello Terri, Thank you for the question. If the noise is coming from the back of the Freezer, we recommend replacing the Evaporator Fan Motor. We hope this helps!
Hi Bill, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, this motor is not for the ice maker. It works to cool down the condenser. Ice maker contains one motor: auger motor, part number PS3533572. We hope this information helps!
My refrigerator won’t get cold or freezer what part or parts do i need?
For model number Lfx25973d
Hello Corey, Thank you for your inquiry. When you are having temperature problems in your fridge, there are a few parts that could cause the issue. You can use a multi meter to test most of the parts. Make sure you cut power to your appliance before doing any repairs or tests. First you should test your defrost thermostat. Place the thermostat in ice cold water for 2-3 minutes after removing it from your appliance. It should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. Another part to check would be your defrost heater. Remove it from the appliance. It should be reading anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms to be working. You could check your temperature sensor. To find the correct reading for this part you will have to refer to your tech sheet that comes with your appliance. You can usually find this tech sheet behind the bottom grille of your fridge on either the right or left side. These are the most common parts that cause this issue in your appliance. So it is suggested you check them first. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
