Both cams had broken off the gasket retainer strips
Check YouTube, but no one shows all the details. Need to swap hinges and spring from old retainer to new retainers by removing screw at bottom of hinge, then removing rod with small screwdriver to poke the rod out. I laid the old and new side by side and did swap to ensure proper orientation. Attach cams before sliding gasket retainer bac
... Read morek into gasket, I used a few drops of liquid soap as lubricant on the retainer to help it slide in. Very important to ensure the edge of the retainer is tucked behind the door edge or else things will not fit correctly. I did it a few times before I got it right, but didn’t break anything else. Good luck.

Show how to install, thank you
For model number 795.7840
Hi Nick, Thank you for the great question. Open the door and pop off the trim covering the gasket retainer, it will just pop off by hand.Peel the gasket lip back a bit to expose the gasket retainer. At the top and bottom of the retainer you will see a channel you can fit a flat head screw driver into and pop the retainer out a bit. Use a Phillips head screw driver to remove the screw at the top of the retainer that holds the cam shaft in place. Pull the cam shaft from the retainer after the screw is removed. Inset the new cam shaft and replace the screw. Make sure the retainer is behind the lip of the gasket and tuck the retainer spring back into the door liner and snap the retainer back into place. Snap the door trim back on and you will be set. Good luck with the repair !

I'm not sure how this happened, but the left door cam shaft is sloppy and loose. I assumed it's broken or not secure. I believe it's purpose is to help secure the door closure. Is replacement the same for my model. Thanks
