After running the self cleaning cycle, my stove is showing an f-1 (shorted keypad) error code. Nothing now works on the stove except the display (neither the stovetop nor oven.) is it the touchpad and control panel part what is needed to be replaced?
For model number LRE30451ST / 03
Hi Kathy-Ann,
Thank you for your question. According to the LG website, the F1 error code indicates the sensor or thermistor is in an open state and it is not operational. If you are hearing beeping from the range with the F1 error code, press the On/Off button to terminate it. Try to reset the range by either unplugging the range or turning the circuit breaker off for 3-5 minutes and plug it back in. If the F1 error code still shows after plugging it back in, it may not be the thermistor causing the issue, it could be the wiring.
You will need to unplug the range and check the ribbon cable connections between the control panel and the electronic control board and also verify if one of these parts is causing the issue. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, you will need to get a technician to help you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My oven won't turn off, should I just replace the control board, is it returnable if it still doesn't work?
For model number LRE30451ST
Hello Annette, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend testing the bake and broil elements for continuity using a multimeter. Sometimes a shorted element can cause the described issue. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the relay board, part number PS3530118. The relay control board operates relays to regulate the oven elements. If this does not help the electronic control board, part number PS6012666, is most probably faulty. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
