Is there a water filter bypass plug? We bought a new filter, and, since installing, it makes a huge racket, when dispensing water. We cannot find anything wrong with the fridge so want to see if we take the filter out and run the water, if the noise goes away. When the noise first started, it would go away if we took the filter out, put it back in, and reset it, but, that doesn't work, now. Maybe the filter is bad. Husband says, we may not need to use a filter, a we are on a well, and have a whole house water filter installed.

Hello Sharon, Thank you for the question. To bypass the filter you will just need to remove it. The filter head it plugs into will auto bypass with no filter in place. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
