Microwave acts as if it is unplugged. Sounds like the fuse to me. Is there something that would have caused the fuse to fail that i might need to replace ? Or should i try just replacing the fuse ? Thanks, richard
For model number JEM31SF001
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are a couple of parts that could cause your appliance not to turn on. Your fuse is one of them. I would also suggest checking your door switches as well. Good luck with your repair.

We heard electrical buz & no further power. How do I get to the fuse?
For model number JVM139K01
Hello Joe, Thank you for the question. Generally the fuse is located next to the magnetron and the capacitor so the outside cabinet panel will need to be removed. The appliance can hold a charge even unplugged, so if you are not comfortable performing the repair, we suggest contacting a repair man. Hope this helps!

The touch pad is working. The fan goes on. But it does not heat. Could it be the fuse? I mean, would the touch pad and fan still work even if the fuse goes bad?
For model number ZMC1095SF03
Hi Manuel, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding, the issue is not with the fuse. The fuse protects the microwave from damage by shutting off the microwave if there is a power surge. We would recommend checking the high voltage diode, part number PS239740. It is an electrical current control device inside the microwave. It provides high voltage that powers the magnetron. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I see the fuse in the parts diagram. When taking off the back panel where exactly is the fuse? I want to avoid taking anything apart I don't need to disturb. Thanks. John

The control dashboard is not working but when the oven door is opened. The oven light comes on. I believe power is getting into the oven but the contol panel is dead. What are my options
For model number ZET3058SH1SS
Hi Sonia, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the wire harnesses of the display boards first. If these are fine, the issue could be with the main logic board, part number PS953784. It monitors the temperature and controls the oven heat. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
Hello Ken, thank you for the question. You can follow these instructions to remove the filter. Unthread the screw securing the outer case. Remove the cover. You may need to discharge the capacitor by putting the legs of nose plier on the terminal of the capacitor. Now you will have access to noise filter. Remove the fuse and replace it with the new one. We hope this information helps!

I had the timer on and when the time was up the microwave shut down and went dead. I could not turn it back on. Is there a simple explanation? Should I just replace the microwave with a new one or do you think it may be just the fuse?
For model number JEB1095BB002
Hi Jay, Thank you for the question. If there is no power at all to the appliance, I will suggest starting with the fuse. If the fuse does not fix the issue then the control may need to be replaced,PartSelect Number PS239717. Hope this helps!
