Not getting water to dishwasher when i cut it on. Does this part control water coming from water supply?
Hi Donny,
Thank you for your inquiry. The drain pump pumps water out of the dishwasher. You may have to check the water inlet valve, the dishwasher float, the float switch and the door switch to see if these parts are causing the dishwasher from filling with water. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

After washing, water still in dishwasher - will not drain out. Pump is pumping a little, but will not pump enough to empty washer
For model number GLD5604V00BB
Hi Terry, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the Sump Filter and Cover first to make sure it is clean and not blocking the water from draining. You can also test the Flood Switch,PartSelect Number PS958959 and the drain pump with the Multi Meter to see if they are defective. Hope this helps!

The dishwasher was not draining the water after cleaning. I cleaned all filters and hoses and started the rinse cycle at the end of the cycle i heard the drain pump running (normal noise) and when i opened the door there was very little water left in the dishwasher. I restarted the rinse cycle again and got the same result. I thought the problem is solved. So i put the lower rack in the dishwasher and installed the kickplate. I don't know why but i started the rinse cycle again. This time i did not hear the drain pump coming on and the water was not drained. I removed the water using shop vac. And restarted the rinse cycle. Again the drain pump did start. The winding resistance reads 28 ohms. Will replacing the drain pump solve the problem or there might be some other issue? Thanks for your anticipated help.
For model number GLD4968T10SS
Hello Dev, thank you for inquiring. Replacing this Drain Pump Assembly for your model will most likely fix the issue. You may also want to consider the Drain Tube part PS2339994. We hope this helps.

I am hearing a very unusual noise when the dishwasher is initially started (initially draining any water in system) as well as when the unit is draining water towards the end of the washing cycle. Could this be the pump creating this noise or should i look at anything else.
For model number GLD4456R00CS
Hello Dan and thank you for writing.
Check for any debris stuck in the drains and drain hoses if that check out clear then it is likely a faulty pump drain # PS2370525. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Spray arms do not turn. Will replacing pump # wd26x10046 correct problem thanks
For model number GLD2800TBB
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. If the spray arms are not turning, the arms likely have a blockage. The main cause for a blockage is food debris. You will need to clean the spray arms with hot soapy water. If some of the food debris will not come off, it can be removed with a small piece of wire. to prevent this from happening in the future, rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

When washing water will not drain enough, water runs out at door bottom!
For model number GLD4404R00BB
Hi James,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is not draining, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drain pump, the sump filter, the drain tube kit, the circulation pump impeller kit, the water inlet valve, the fine filter, the flood switch, the seat check valve, and the inlet sump. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher fills with water and drains immediately. It still runs through all the cycles with no water. It sounds like the drain pump is constantly running. It kicks on soon as the washer finishes filling. Thanks!!
For model number GLD4408R00WW
Hi Tamar,
Thank you for your inquiry. Where your washer and dryer is filling and draining at the same time there are a few parts you will need to check to see what is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve and the water level switch or pressure switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
